The collection consists of papers of Harold Hirsch from 1915-1935. The papers consist mostly of correspondence regarding Hirsch's involvement in several organizations including letters from David M. Bressler and Harry Shapiro regarding the American Jewish Committee's (1930) effort to raise money in Atlanta (Ga.); letters (1915-1919) regarding Hirsch's presidency of the Ingleside Country Club, many from Oscar Elsas; correspondence (1933-1936) as president of the Atlanta Committee for German-Jewish Relief, a committee related to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee; and letters (1888-1920) pertaining to Hirsch's activities as chief legal counsel for Coca-Cola.
